Report: Redskins QB Colt McCoy had another surgery on injured right leg

The Washington Redskins had a banged-up quarterback room last year. And that is going to carry over into 2019.

With Alex Smith already out for the season, the Redskins were down to Colt McCoy as the only healthy quarterback on their roster ahead of the season before trading for Case Keenum. However, it appears that McCoy wasn’t as healthy as many thought.

According to The Athletic’s Tarik El-Bashir, McCoy was recently spotted on crutches and did have another recent surgery. He is expected to be ready for the start of the offseason program.
