Report: Redskins are releasing ILB Mason Foster

The Redskins have reportedly released veteran ILB Mason Foster the day before players report to training camp. Foster has been considered cut candidate, but seemed relatively safe until final cuts.

I think it’s a little surprising considering they already lost Reuben Foster to injury. Mason will be missed. Was always a great guy to talk to in the locker room. https://t.co/5g76AZY8Gw

The Redskins already released Zach Brown, another former starting ILB, earlier in the offseason.
