Redskins: Week 7 goals for Washington in Bill Callahan’s second game as coach

Last week, the Redskins were able to get the monkey off their back and finally earned their first win of the season. That said, the 17-16 win over the Miami Dolphins in which the team nearly blew a 17-3 fourth-quarter lead to the league’s worst team wasn’t exactly encouraging.

Redskins fans will be looking for a more encouraging performance in Week 7 against the San Francisco 49ers. Of course, that may not entail a win. The 49ers are one of the two unbeaten teams remaining in the NFL and they just beat the Los Angeles Rams convincingly. They could make trouble for the Redskins’ offense if the team’s passing game can’t get going.
