Redskins Waive Kyshoen Jarrett

The Redskins found a sixth round gem last season in Jarrett, who emerged quickly in training camp. When the Redskins needed someone to step into the slot cornerback spot, it was Jarrett who impressed enough to get the assignment as a rookie.

He turned out to be one of the surprises on the season as he routinely matched up with both receivers and tight ends and was also a sure tackler. Jarrett played with swagger of a veteran and it was this trait that made his future with the Redskins so bright.

But now Jarrett’s football future is in doubt as he still hasn’t recovered from nerve damage he suffered on a violent collision in week 17 with the Dallas Cowboys Darren McFadden.
