It’s been a start far from ideal for the Washington Redskins, who lost their season opener to the Philadelphia Eagles after giving up a 20-7 halftime lead, and then some. To add insult to injury, or perhaps injury to insult, the Redskins have been dealing with a swath of medical predicaments in the aftermath of that loss.
Jonathan Allen was recently ruled out for the team’s Week 2 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys, and earlier today, the Redskins followed through on the expectations of many, and placed Derrius Guice on temporary injured reserve, restricting his ability to come back until Week 8.
