ASHBURN, Virginia – The Washington Redskins have witnessed signs of an improved defense, a vision they’ve waited several year to see. They’ll get a chance Sunday night to see if those are legitimate or another mirage.
The Redskins play host to the high-powered, and balanced, Oakland Raiders Sunday night, giving them a chance to show the nation what sort of defense they are – and can become. The Redskins have shown positive signs in their first two games vs. the Philadelphia Eagles and the Los Angeles Rams. They’ve mostly stopped, or controlled, the run game.
