Cowboys give Ezekiel Elliott six-year, $90 million extension

The dramatic summer holdout is over, and one of the best running backs in football has gotten paid.

The Dallas Cowboys and Ezekiel Elliott agreed to a six-year, $90 million contract extension with $50 million guaranteed. That makes him the highest-paid running back in NFL history, reports from ESPN and NFL Network said Wednesday morning.

Source says Cowboys have agreement with RB Ezekiel Elliott on six-year contract with $90M with $50M guaranteed. This should enable Elliott to take a physical and practice today with team.
