The Redskins made a huge move this morning by firing Jay Gruden who is in his 6th season as Head Coach. They are also promoting Assistant Head Coach/OL Coach Bill Callahan to interim Head Coach. There are likely other moves to be made, like firing Defensive Coordinator Greg Manusky.
The move that everyone wants to see happen isn’t going to become reality anytime soon though. Bruce Allen and Dan Snyder fled FedEx Field yesterday afternoon with the quickness after the Redskins were blown out again. This was not a typical move for the drinking buddies, and it was obvious they were planning Jay Gruden’s execution.
