(Video) Redskins' RGIII helps a girl ask classmate with cerebral palsy to prom

With all the negativity that seems to have built up in the past couple of weeks of Redskins news, it is absolutely refreshing when something like this comes across the wires.

Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III helped 17-year-old Juwaan Espinal, who suffers from cerebral palsy, find his dream date to his school's prom. One of Espinal's friends, Morgan Assel, decided to great Espinal with a giant banner at a lacrosse game. The message? “I know I’m not as cool as RGIII, but will you go to prom with me?”

Hiding behind that giant banner? None other than RGIII himself:

Espinal said yes to Assel, prompting RGIII to say this on his Instagram account: “What a blessing this kid is to his community and he’s a ladies man!”

Thanks to Nick Schwartz of For The Win for this wonderful story.
