Redskins OTAs News: RGIII's stock rising during offseason activities

In today's look into the world of Redskins news, Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III looks to be on track to recapturing the magic of his 2012 NFL season.

Per Marcel Davis of Bleacher Report, Griffin spoke with the Washington Post's Mike Jones about changing the way he goes about having the opportunity to fully interact with his teammates this offseason:

As everyone knows, last year I was rehabbing and getting ready for the season, and now I get to go out there and be with the guys. That’s the most important part: to be with your teammates. That’s what I’ve had a chance to do. I thoroughly enjoy it, and hopefully they have, too.

In addition to having the chance to be out on the practice field with his teammates, Griffin is also working on a hitch that presented itself in his throwing mechanics.

According to Davis, "as John Keim of ESPN.com noted, Griffin had a longer windup when he threw the ball last season, lengthening the time it took for him to release the ball."

Griffin is now using a more traditional over-the-top motion to quicken his release and to give him more accuracy from a traditional pocket.
