Here's an interesting bit of Redskins news for the end of a long work week--Washington Redskins' 2013 Pro Bowl running back Alfred Morris says the relationship between quarterback Robert Griffin III and Redskins' owner Daniel Snyder is nothing of note.
Speaking with Dan Steinberg of the Washington Post, Alfred Morris intimated that he doesn't "pay much attention, to be honest with you" to the relationship between Griffin III and Snyder, but he doesn't see the coexistence between the two as causing any problems for the Washington Redskins as a team--
"Around the facility, it’s something that you don’t see. Maybe outside of that they may have a good relationship, but we don’t know. Mr. Snyder comes in, and usually he’s in his office or he’s taking care of front-office stuff. Robert is always with us. So we never see them together, so I really wouldn’t know the type of relationship they have."
Morris is referring to media reports that quarterback Robert Griffin III played an instrumental role in swaying Daniel Snyder into firing Mike Shanahan after the Washington Redskins finished 3-13 this season.
Referring to the controversy as a whole, Alfred Morris stated, "the media just really blew that up, and I don’t see why."
