The Washington Football Team drafted 10 players which is a large draft class in any year. They traded a 2022 5th to the Philadelphia Eagles to acquire an extra 6th and 7th this year. Ron Rivera said they targeted LS Camaron Cheeseman in the 6th because they didn't think he would be available later.
Another interesting note about that trade was Rivera's reasoning behind it. He was interviewed by B Mitch and Finlay on 106.7 the Fan today and said the team didn't want to compete with other teams for the players they planned on taking in the 7th after the draft.
