NFL free agency is almost upon us, and the Washington Redskins have some important decisions in front of them. They have many impact players that are set to hit the open market including starters like Preston Smith, Jamison Crowder, and Ha Ha Clinton-Dix. And this offseason, the team’s buying power will be hamstrung somewhat by Alex Smith‘s contract.
Though the Redskins may not have a lot of cap room, they can always create some. Veterans like Vernon Davis, Zach Brown, Mason Foster, or Jordan Reed could be cut to create savings if they need room.
