Redskins Rumors: Physical keeping Redskins from signing free agent OL Bruce Campbell?

Redskins rumors have been focused over the past few hours on the search for offensive line help, and now it seems that one of the Washington Redskins' targets at offensive tackle may not be healthy enough to pull the trigger on a deal.

Mike Jones, Redskins beat writer for the Washington Post, just tweeted this about the Washington Redskins' meeting with offensive lineman Bruce Campbell--

What is interesting about this situation is that ESPN NFL Nation reporter John Keim already labeled this a done deal yesterday morning, stating that the former Oakland Raider and Carolina Panther had already signed a 1-year, $645,000 deal.

With the recent developments involving the Oakland Raiders and the voiding of offensive tackle Rodger Saffold's 5-year, $42.5 million deal (he subsequently re-signed with the Rams for the same length and $5 million less), it is understandable that the Washington Redskins would be careful about publicly committing to any player until all of the auxiliary procedures have been taken care of.

Speaking of the Oakland Raiders, they are the other team rumored to be pursuing Campbell--attempting to bring Campbell back to the city where he started his NFL career in 2010.

Stay tuned, Redskins fans.
