4 Potential Destinations For Robert Griffin III Next Season

The Washington Redskins are reportedly done with quarterback Robert Griffin III, and it's unlikely that he'll be back with the team next season. If he's not, where is the former Heisman trophy winner most likely to end up?

Philadelphia Eagles

Chip Kelly's offense hasn't had someone with Griffin's running ability (even after his injury) since Michael Vick was benched for Nick Foles. The offense is also very similar to the one RG3 had so much success with at Baylor. Philly doesn't have a need for quarterback, but they don't have anyone they feel comfortable with long-term. Griffin might not be the answer, but he has more potential than Foles or Sanchez. However, Philly fans might revolt if this actually happened.

St. Louis Rams

How ironic would it be if the team that traded away the pick that ended up being RG3 ended up with him as their quarterback? The Rams certainly have a big need under center, and while Jeff Fisher hasn't given up hope on Sam Bradford, Griffin has more talent than any quarterback on St. Louis' roster. In order for this to work, Griffin and Fisher would have to get along - which probably won't happen, but both sides might need each other.

New York Jets

Can you imagine RG3 and the New York media? That circus would be incredible, but we all know how much Griffin loves the media. The Jets will be looking for quarterback this offseason, and if they're not sold on Oregon's Marcus Mariota or Florida State's Jameis Winston in the draft  - or if they're looking to make a splash - Griffin will be who they go after.

Buffalo Bills

This makes the most logical sense out of all the options on the table. Buffalo needs a quarterback - Kyle Orton is not the answer - but they won't be in a position to pick one of the top quarterbacks in the draft. That means they'll look to upgrade through a trade/free agency, and Griffin is the best option out there. He obviously has room to improve as a passer, but Buffalo has the offensive weapons that would help make the transition easier.
