3 Reasons The Redskins Are GUARANTEED To Beat The Buccaneers

The Washington Redskins host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a matchup of NFC teams searching for their third win of the season. The 2-4 Redskins have lost two straight games and are in need of a win to keep their NFC East hopes alive. The Buccaneers are coming off their bye and beat the Jaguars in their last game. Only one team can pick up a win this weekend, and it's going to be Washington. Here are three reasons why the Redskins are GUARANTEED to beat the Buccaneers.

3. Turnovers

The Redskins have picked off opposing QBs a mere three times this season, fewer than all but three teams in the NFL. However, the Redskins face a turnover-prone QB in rookie Jameis Winston. If the Redskins are going to have a game where they pick off a few passes, it's this one. The Redskins will be able to force at least two Winston giveaways, and that's the difference in the game.

2. Poor Buccaneer Run Defense

This is the week the Redskins' ground game gets going. The Buccaneers have one of the worst run defenses in the NFL, giving up 120 yards per game. I'm not sure if it will be Alfred Morris, Matt Jones, Chris Thompson or a combination of those players, but the Redskins will rush for 100 yards for the second time since Week 2. Behind an effective ground game, Washington will pick up a needed win.

1. Time For A Kirk Cousins Bounce Back

The most consistent part of Cousins' game this season is his inconsistency. He's followed up two of his two interception game with a turnover-free effort. Not surprisingly, the Redskins won both of those games. Cousins will continue this trend by not committing any turnovers against the Bucs. With a strong game from Cousins, the Redskins will defeat the Buccaneers.
