Caps defenseman Jonas Siegenthaler scored his first career goal Saturday on the one-year anniversary of his first game in the NHL.

In his 44th career game, Siegenthaler put the Caps up 3-1 in the second period with a shot on Marc-Andre Fleury, with an assist to Travis Boyd.

Siegenthaler has played in all 18 games this season, after playing 26 in his rookie season. Brendan Leipsic picked up the puck for him.
