The Capitals brought a four game win streak into New York to faceoff against an elite offensive Islanders squad, who were losers of their last three. Unfortunately for Washington though Jaroslav Halak was chosen to tend the twine for New York and he was nearly perfect, carrying the Islanders to a 3 to 1 win.
