UTEP basketball: Anthony Tarke will transfer to UTEP

Former NJIT leading scorer Anthony Tarke has committed to UTEP, giving UTEP a sit out transfer who will be eligible for the 2019-20 season.

Tarke had at least 20 schools reach out once he decided to transfer from NJIT where he led the team in scoring last year as a sophomore. He was also a top rebounder, giving UTEP a versatile wing who was highly sought after in the transfer free agent market.

He will have to sit out this coming season, but the 6’6 athletic wing from Gaithersburg, Maryland will have two years of eligibility left to play at UTEP.
