Considering that the Utah Jazz are in 10th place in the Western Conference, knocking on the door for a playoff spot and will be battling for the remainder of the season to qualify for the postseason, it’s pretty easy to make an argument that every remaining game is a ‘big game.’ Nevertheless, tonight’s contest against the Portland Trail Blazers can be taken even a step further.
It’s a REALLY big game.
The Jazz are just two games behind the seventh place Blazers, who just happen to be one of the slew of teams that Utah could very well be competing with for playoff positioning down the season’s stretch.
