After an impressive six-game win streak, the Utah Jazz have come back to earth a bit, dropping two games in a row. They now sit at 13-13, and are currently No. 7 in the Western Conference standings. The losses were somewhat defensible, however, and at this time there’s not much reason to panic.
While losing a 17-point third-quarter lead is hard, the Jazz were up against a desperate Oklahoma City team and on the second game of a back-to-back. They simply ran out of steam. Then on Thursday they faced perhaps the best team in the league and one of the few real contenders to the Golden State Warriors.
