It was tough sledding for the Utah Jazz during the first half of their 2017-18 opener. Heading into halftime, they found themselves down by nine points. At the time, Utah’s defense, timing and energy were just off.

Meanwhile, it seemed as though the Nuggets couldn’t miss from the perimeter.

However, Rudy Gobert and the Jazz completely turned that around in the second half, locking the Nuggets down to secure a 106-96 victory.

Will Barton, who came off the Nuggets’ bench and dropped 21 points in the first half, only scored two points in the second. And Nikola Jokic was held to just seven points on 3-of-10 shooting.
