The slow creep for the Trojans up the AP poll continued in Week 13 as few unexpected results in the Top 15 and a lackluster victory over UCLA resulted in a one-spot move.
USC now sits at No. 11 in the AP, ahead of No. 12 Penn State, but trailing other two-loss teams like No. 8 Ohio State, No. 9 Notre Dame and No. 10 TCU.
The AP’s Top 4 remains No. 1 Alabama, No. 2 Miami, No. 3 Oklahoma and No. 4 Clemson.
Washington State and Washington also moving up one place this week, taking advantage of Oklahoma State’s loss to Kansas State.
