USC Football picked up a much-needed pledge for the class of 2018 late on Sunday night, adding four-star defensive tackle Trevor Trout’s commitment.
A product of Chaminade High School in Saint Louis, Trout is the 11th commit for USC’s upcoming recruiting class.
Trout’s commitment took an unusual form. Like many others, Trout dropped a video on Twitter, but it was not a normal production, taking a deeply emotional tone:
The announcement comes on the back of Trout’s official visit to USC this weekend for the UCLA rivalry game.
The 6-foot-3, 315-pound prospect ranks No. 16 among defensive tackles in the class, according to the 247Sports composite.
