A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Albany Avenue in Hartford Friday night, according to a Hartford police report.
Hartford police responded to a report of a person, identified by police as Kedine Campbell, lying in the road in the area of 1098 Albany Ave. close to midnight on Friday. Campbell, 32, was transported to St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.
The motor vehicle fled the scene of the accident before officers arrived but a traffic camera video indicated that a smaller dark colored SUV was traveling westbound on Albany near Oakland Terrace when it struck Campbell, who was in the westbound land of the road in front of 1098 Albany Ave.
