UCLA Football: Chargers draft center Scott Quessenberry

The UCLA football team had their fourth player taken in the 2018 NFL Draft as center Sott Quessenberry was taken by the Los Angeles Chargers. Notably, Quessenberry is Los Angeles’ first offensive player drafted as the Bolts have been focusing on loading up their defense through the first four rounds.

In 2017, Quessenberry anchored UCLA’s offensive line by starting in all 13 games, earning All Pac-12 honorable mentions along the way. Quessenberry first earned these honors after his freshman campaign in 2014 where he spent almost half of the season at the left guard.

Looking ahead, Quessenberry brings a unique combination of size and speed to Los Angeles as the 6-4, 310 lbs.
