Wow. What a week it’s been for UCLA Basketball.
It started out with Steve Alford saying things like “I don’t know what you want me to say....” and “I don’t get [Thomas Welsh] shots. It’s not me getting him shots. They don’t let me come out here [on the court].” Both of which were in defense of last Saturday’s loss to Colorado at home.

Then, the Bruins went out and just got beat by the Oregon State Beavers on the road. After that loss, Alford proved that denial isn’t just a river in Egypt when he told Ben Bolch of the LA Times after being asked about any concerning trends:
I don’t think there’s a trend.
