The UCLA basketball team just strengthened an already impressive recruiting class as they not only landed a point guard (a position they were in dire need of) but also got a PG that would fit perfectly in head coach Steve Alford’s system.
Tyger Campbell (La Lumiere School/La Pointe/IN) is now committed to UCLA as they reignited their interest in each other in recently. Though the Bruins struggled to get things going early in the 2018 recruiting cycle, they have really picked up the pace in the last few months. That includes prioritizing Campbell.
Campbell was supposed to make an announcement last week but apparently needed more time to weigh his decision which was down to UCLA, Purdue and DePaul (the favorite for sometime).
