The fact is that UCLA doesn’t necessarily need to win tonight as much as the Bruins need to not lose. Sure, a win would help the Bruins chances of winning the Pac-12 regular season title, but the last time I checked, UCLA doesn’t hang Conference Championship banners in Pauley Pavilion.
