DeMar DeRozan calls it “a little predicament” that the Toronto Raptors always find themselves in and says it’s fun to find a way to solve it.
The mess is the team’s habit of starting any playoff series with a loss — nine times out of 10 historically, four straight times now in DeRozan’s tenure — for which DeRozan sees one root cause.
“I think we just like drama for some reason,” DeRozan said this morning as the Raptors prepared for tonight’s Game 2 of their Eastern Conference semifinal with the Miami Heat.
Three times of the four that DeRozan has experienced first hand, the Raptors have bounced back to win Game 2.
