The Voice of Reason
It is great that the residential school system is gone, but the problem won't go away until reservations are done away with, along with tax exemptions and other policies that treat Canada's Native population like helpless children. While the intentions are good, these attempts to "help" are reinforcing ugly stereotypes and resulting in de facto segregation.
