Mitch Marner is sidelined for four weeks

During tonight’s game, the Toronto Maple Leafs announced the results of Mitch Marner’s injury from Saturday night’s game against the Flyers:

Maple Leafs forward Mitch Marner underwent an MRI exam today after sustaining an ankle injury in last night’s game vs. PHI.

Marner is expected to be out of the lineup for a minimum of 4 weeks, at which point he will be reassessed by the @MapleLeafs medical staff. #LeafsForever— Leafs PR (@LeafsPR) November 11, 2019

This announcement means that Marner will be out at least over 24 days, so the Leafs can put him on LTIR and can run a full 23-man roster until he returns.
