Marcus Stroman has been a member of the Toronto Blue Jays since 2014 and has done everything in his power to make Toronto and the country of Canada his home. Stroman genuinely cherishes playing north of the border and has repeatedly verbalized his interest to sign a long term extension to remain with the team.
The hurler has been a focal point of trade rumours since last season, yet the front office has not sat Stroman down and reiterated he is part of the plan moving forward. Furthermore, the team has not indicated to Stroman that they are indeed shopping him.
