Blue Jays: Aaron Sanchez to undergo shoulder surgery

Aaron Sanchez managed just four starts following a trade that sent him to the Houston Astros at the trade deadline. The hurler was sidelined on August 21st with a pectoral muscle issue, however, now that Astros have confirmed the starter will require shoulder surgery.

The Astros have yet to divulge what the rehab process or anticipated timeline looks like other than the injury is season-ending. This 27-year old had battled chronic blister and finger issues for the better part of two seasons with the Blue Jays leading up to his trade.

Sanchez and the Astros seemed to right the ship following a combined no-hitter in his first start with his new club.
