Aaron Sanchez is making it very difficult on the Blue Jays if the team was planning on shopping him before the trade deadline. If it was not bad enough that Sanchez is represented by Scott Boras, the 26-year old sports an inflated 5.49 earned run average and is still showing a propensity for blister issues again this season.
Sanchez will become a free agent in 2021 and is considered to be a tough sign due to his Boras ties, so the timing would have been perfect to offload the hurler this season in the midst of a rebuild.
