CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Toledo women's swimming team opened the first day of competition at Cleveland State's Magnus Cup Invitational with seven top-10 finishes on Thursday. The Toledo freestyle relay team and senior Lauren Kilgore (200 IM) had the highest finishes of the night, taking second place in their respective events.
The Toledo A freestyle team of Janne Slegers, Lauren Kilgore, Sydney Conrad and Kennedy Lovell touched with a season-best time of 1:33.78 for a runner-up finish. Kilgore swam a season-best time of 2:01.34 for a second-place finish in the 200 IM.
