YPSILANTI, Mich. – Senior Marreon Jackson tallied a season-high 20 points to lead Toledo (3-2, 1-0 MAC) to a 91-74 road win over Eastern Michigan (0-2, 0-1 MAC) on Friday night in the Mid-American Conference opener for both schools.
Jackson was joined in double digits by junior Setric Millner Jr. (17 pts.), senior Spencer Littleson (14 pts.), sophomore Keshaun Saunders (13 pts.) and freshman Ryan Rollins (13 pts.). Redshirt freshman Mattia Acunzo finished with nine points, six rebounds and three assists in 13 minutes.
"We've got a lot of guys who can score and I'd like to think we can have a lot of games like this where we have four or five guys in double figures," Head Coach Tod Kowalczyk said.
