Monday afternoon wasn’t any better than Saturday night.
“I don’t feel too much different after watching the videotape of what I saw on Saturday,” Toledo coach Jason Candle said about his team’s loss to Colorado State. “Offensively, we were very disjointed and some glaring weaknesses showed up. We have to really work hard this week to get them fixed and move forward.”
The work started in earnest Sunday with a late-afternoon practice. The upcoming challenge isn’t just Ball State, the preseason Mid-American Conference favorite, a team that defeated the Rockets the past two seasons, or a trip to Muncie, Ind.
