TOLEDO, Ohio - Head Coach Tod Kowalczyk announced today that sophomore center AJ Edu will be out for the season after undergoing arthroscopic surgery to repair a medial meniscus tear earlier this week. Edu also sat out the 2019-20 campaign after a successful ACL surgery.
"AJ has just had some really bad luck. I feel for him because this was a fluke thing and totally unrelated to his previous injury," Kowalczyk said. "Losing AJ for the season is a big blow to our program, but he will come back bigger, better and stronger next year.
