After losing starting QB battle, Toledo's Bradley has remained prepared

Even though sophomore Carter Bradley lost the starting quarterback job coming into this season, he’s kept the same strategy for his preparation.

“Just preparing like you're the No. 1 guy, always,” Bradley said. “That's definitely been something that's been a part of coming into high school, coming out, going into college. Preparing as the No. 1 guy is huge.”

That mindset paid off Wednesday night in Toledo’s 45-28 win on the road against Eastern Michigan.

Senior starter Eli Peters — who was having a solid night with 190 yards and two touchdowns on 11 of 15 passing — suffered a lower-body injury just before halftime.
