Following Texas Tech’s dominant shutout win over the West Virginia Mountaineers in Morgantown, West Virginia, the Red Raiders are now looking at heading to the Big 12 championship game to compete against the BYU Cougars.
And working under the assumption that the Red Raiders are able to beat BYU as they did previously when they met up in early November, then Texas Tech will be headed on to the College Football Playoff without any sorts of questions being asked about the Red Raiders belonging there.
That would be fun. Especially when you look at how Texas Tech has performed and where the Red Raiders could go in the College Football Playoff seeding.
