Well folks, it looks like the Kansas Jayhawks won’t be going bowling this season unless something weird happens. Also, thanks to Kansas losing on Saturday, the Texas Tech Red Raiders’ win over the Utah Utes looks a little bit more impressive.
That’s because Utah managed to surge right past Kansas in the fourth quarter thanks to an offensive explosion, allowing the Utes to get to 10-2 overall (and 6-2 against Big 12 teams) this season while Kansas happened to fall to 5-7 overall and 3-6 in Big 12 play.
But even though there was that impressive scoring burst from the Utes in the fourth quarter, it’s probably safe to bet that Utah football fans were terrified that their season was about to take a turn for the worst as they were heading into the fourth quarter.
