The Texas Tech football team had to turn to a really young backup quarterback in Will Hammond after starting quarterback Behren Morton was dinged up earlier in the season. Then Hammond went out with an injury! For the remainder of the season!
It’s not the best sort of position to be in for Joey McGuire and the Texas Tech football team, but none of that means that the Red Raiders’ season is done just yet. Instead, Texas Tech should be able to make some noteworthy splashes down the stretch of the season as the Red Raiders play BYU next week and are looking to make the Big 12 championship game.
