As we approach the end of the 2019 season, to say the year has been full of ups and downs for the Texas Rangers is an understatement. As of now, they sit at 74-77 which based on preseason expectations, is actually pretty positive. Still, they’re a long way off the pace of the AL West leading Houston Astros trailing by 24 games in the division. In the Wild Card, they trail the Tampa Bay Rays by 15 games. While the record isn’t terrible, that gap is concerning for a team that is hoping to compete within the next season.
