AUSTIN, Texas - Texas Athletics is making significant upgrades to its basketball facilities in support of the Men's and Women's basketball programs. The upgrades include a new centerhung video display system and a 360-degree ribbon display in the Frank Erwin Center, renovated men's and women's locker rooms in Denton A. Cooley Pavilion, new floorboards in both facilities and a new court design at the Erwin Center. The renovations will be completed before the start of the upcoming 2017-18 season. Total project cost is approximately $4.25 million.
"The upgrades to the Texas Basketball facilities demonstrate the commitment that The University of Texas has to both basketball programs," said Texas Men's Athletics Director Mike Perrin.
