In each and every Texas football regular season opener, there will be good and bad takeaways no matter the result. Although Texas should come away much happier with this season’s win over the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs at home on Aug. 31 compared to the past two against the Maryland Terrapins, there’s still signs of caution ahead of Week 2.
Since Texas has a top 10 battle on its hands against the No. 6 ranked LSU Tigers on Sep. 7, the celebration and reflection of the win over Louisiana Tech can’t last too long. But there is plenty of film to go over from the decisive 45-14 win yesterday.
