The 2019-20 college basketball regular season isn’t all that far out and a team that could have high expectations entering the campaign is the Texas basketball program. Last season, Texas capped off their regular season run with an NIT Championship win over Lipscomb.
The Texas Longhorns basketball program tips off their regular season slate on Nov. 5 against Northern Colorado. That matchup against Northern Colorado will come at home at the Frank Erwin Center before the Longhorns pick up and hit the road for the first time to take on a talented Purdue Boilermakers team.
The Longhorns beat a solid Purdue team last season at home, that featured Boston Celtics rookie point guard Carsen Edwards, in the front end of this home-and-home series.
