Chicago Bears wide receiver and Texas Longhorns alum Marquise Goodwin attempted to qualify for the U.S. Olympics long jump event at the Trials in Eugene, Oregon, over the weekend, according to 247Sports. Unfortunately, Goodwin didn’t qualify this time around.

From 247Sports: “With a best jump of 24 feet 10 inches, Goodwin finished 19th out of 24 jumpers, failing to qualify for Sunday’s finals. Back in May, Goodwin signed a one-year contract with the Chicago Bears. The 2021 NFL season will be Goodwin’s eighth in the league. The former Texas Longhorns standout was traded from the San Francisco 49ers to the Philadelphia Eagles last offseason.
