Best in the class? Not quite for Texas A&M wide receiver Christian Kirk, but in the view of one leading NFL draft analyst, he’s near the top of the list for receivers in the 2018 NFL draft.
NFL.com analyst Mike Mayock has Kirk as the second-best wide receiver available in April’s draft as part of his position-by-position listings.
Only Alabama’s Calvin Ridley is ranked ahead of Kirk on the list. Mayock considers Kirk a better prospect than several other prominent receiver prospects, including Courtland Sutton of SMU, James Washington of Oklahoma State and Anthony Miller of Memphis.
