Texas A&M safety Donovan Wilson ejected for targeting against Alabama

Texas A&M safety Donovan Wilson was ejected for targeting during Saturday’s game at Alabama.

Wilson was disqualified from the game after delivering a helmet-to-helmet hit on Crimson Tide running back Damien Harris following an interception by Aggies linebacker Claude George in the second quarter.

The targeting penalty initially was not called on the field and was made after a replay review.

Harris, Alabama’s leading rusher, was injured on the play but walked off the field and later returned to the game on the Crimson Tide’s next series.
